Lendlease unveils Ancora at Collins Wharf

Victoria Harbour developer Lendlease has unveiled its latest premium waterfront residential development, Ancora at Collins Wharf, located at 971 Collins St in Docklands.

The launch of Ancora follows the success of Lendlease’s neighbouring Regatta at Collins Wharf development, which was launched in mid-2023 and is more than 80 per cent sold.

The developer said that expressions of interest were now being accepted for Ancora at Collins Wharf to “meet high demand from buyers seeking the opportunity to experience the best of city and waterfront living”.

Designed by architect Warren and Mahoney, Ancora at Collins Wharf is a 28-storey development comprising 303 residences offering uninterrupted views of either Victoria Harbour towards the city or the Yarra River across to Port Phillip Bay.

Executive director of development at Lendlease Daniel Dugina said it had brought forward the release of Ancora in response to demand from buyers following the success of its neighbouring Regatta project.

“Ancora at Collins Wharf is the next stage of our ongoing commitment to deliver more housing in prime locations in Melbourne,” Mr Dugina said.

“The precinct stretches the city’s famed Collins St further westwards to engage with the water, connecting its maritime past with the contemporary vibrancy of the city.”

The project includes 276 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, known as the Waterfront Collection, with high quality fixtures and fittings, contemporary interiors and efficient floor plans to maximise natural light.

 

 

In addition, an exclusive Premier Collection of 27 residences across a range of townhouses, penthouses, and larger-scale apartments will soon become available.

Ancora residents will enjoy a hotel-style lobby with concierge service, a private dining room to entertain guests, and the lush, landscaped surrounds of two rooftop terraces located at level 4 and level 16 with panoramic views, plus a winter garden.

Ancora will also connect to the neighbouring Regatta via a podium that allows easy access for residents to a range of facilities that promote wellness, including an indoor swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room, gym and multipurpose rooms.

Early works for Regatta are already under way, with construction of Ancora set to commence later this year and anticipated for completion in 2027.
