Arrest for alleged robbery

Police arrested a man following an armed robbery at a Docklands business on April 18.
It is alleged a man, armed with a metal pole, attended a fast-food outlet on Batman’s Hill Drive about 11.40pm.
The man assaulted a staff member, before fleeing the scene with an amount of cash.
The male staff member was treated on scene for minor injuries.
Police arrested a man, with the assistance of the Dog Squad, in the vicinity of Southern Cross Station and a Bourke St sports venue shortly after 1.30am.
The man, a 33-year-old from St Kilda, was charged with armed robbery, theft from motor vehicle and criminal damage.
